If you're searching for something to do either during the week or on the weekend this April, then we have you covered. Here are some of the events that we're most excited for.

Easter Egg Hunts & Events

Hop to it! In a category all by themselves are the Easter egg hunts around Santa Cruz County. While there are several local Easter events that the little ones will love, one of the largest and most popular is hosted by Roaring Camp Railroads, located in Felton

The Eggstraordinary Easter Egg Hunt is happening April 8th and April 9th only. The train takes passengers up to Bear Mountain where they can participate in a variety of fun holiday activities, such as tractor rides, candle making, and (of course!) the Easter egg hunt. Prizes are available for game winners, and guests might just see the Easter Bunny himself make an appearance! Tickets for the Redwood Forest Steam Train must be purchased to take part in the event. More information can be found on their website here.

Other communities in Santa Cruz County are also hosting their own Easter events. Watsonville’s Egg Hunt Eggstravaganza is happening April 8th from 1pm to 4pm. This is a free event taking place at Franich Park and registration is not required. More information, such as age limits for participants, can be found here.
