Senior Real Estate Specialist
The Senior Advantage Real Estate Council® (SAREC) was established in 1997 in order to provide REALTORS® with the education necessary to meet the distinct needs and concerns of Americans over the age of 50 who are buying or selling real estate. A Senior Real Estate Specialist® (SRES) is a designation for REALTORS® who have successfully completed the education program offered by SAREC. A SRES is qualified to assist buyers and sellers over the age of 50 with all of their real estate needs, ensuring that their particular goals and living situations are taken into consideration.
Members of the SAREC have demonstrated that they have the necessary knowledge, expertise and experience to counsel senior clients in buying or selling residential or investment properties. As Senior Real Estate Specialists, REALTORS® have proven their expertise in guiding clients through major lifestyle and financial transitions in all stages of life.
Senior Real Estate: Buying & Selling
The senior real estate experience is unique and special, and requires a customized approach, as mature clients have different real estate needs and goals from those of younger buyers and sellers. As seniors real estate specialists, we'll work with you to create solutions that fit with your current living situation and overall life goals.
A Senior Real Estate Specialist® can help seniors make informed decisions about downsizing and selling the family home, relocating, buying rental property, refinancing, and more. As SRES, we provide our clients with ongoing education and updates on current senior real estate issues, in order for them to make the wisest decisions possible.
