Pumpkins in a pumpkin patch

Pumpkins, Pumpkins, Pumpkins

Frights are cool, but maybe you and the little ones want to do something slightly less spooky! Consider stopping by one of the many farms in and around Santa Cruz to pick up a perfect pumpkin in time for Halloween.

Post Street Farm, located at 122 Post Street in Santa Cruz, is a popular destination because of their awesome Halloween decorations.

Alternatively, the Santa Cruz Museum of Natural History is hosting their event, Family Fun: Pumpkin Carving! Located at 1305 East Cliff Drive, those of all ages are invited to participate in their outdoor pumpkin carving event, happening October 22 from 11:00am to 2:00pm. Bring your own pumpkin and tools to this free event, or purchase a pumpkin on-site. Plus, stop by the museum for their Maritime Mysteries and Monsters exhibit, on from October 4 to November 6.
