This means that many of us are cooped up in our homes until everything gets back under control.
Even though staying at home is the best thing to do in a situation like this, it can make you feel stir crazy.

There’s no better time to do your spring cleaning than during self-isolation.
While you’re stuck inside, take the time to deep clean your home. Clean everything that you’ve been putting off since the winter time—like the windows and the garage.
This way, when normal life resumes, you won’t have to worry about spring cleaning during your busy schedule.
You can also take this time to landscape your yard. Trim back any overhanging branches and overgrown bushes.

To properly self-isolate, it’s important to stay at home. But staying at home doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the beautiful city of Santa Cruz.
You can take in everything the city has to offer through all the movies that it’s been featured in.
Santa Cruz is no stranger to the spotlight. In fact, it’s been the filming location for countless movies over the years.
One of the most prominent movies that’s been filmed here in recent years is Jordan Peele’s 2019 movie, US. The beginning of the film features the city’s infamous beach boardwalk.

Many restaurants and cafes are serving clients by delivery. You can order food from select restaurants around Santa Cruz by their own delivery services or from food delivery apps.
Other local retailers are offering online shopping promotions so that you can get a deal on all your favorite goods.
Berdels is a Santa Cruz based clothing store that is offering an extended free shipping promotion. They have been operating in Santa Cruz since 2015, selling top quality clothing—from sweaters to dresses.

If you’re tired of seeing the same four walls of your home day in and day out, then get out! There’s nothing wrong with jumping in your car and going for a drive around the community.
Explore the parts of Santa Cruz that you’ve never seen before. Drive through the Santa Cruz mountains and take in the gorgeous views of the vineyards and the ocean.
Lose yourself in Soquel where there are towering redwood forests and acres upon acres of farmland.
Drive along West Cliff Drive if you want to see beautiful sunsets and ocean views. You can also spot million dollar mansions along the waterfront.
Although Santa Cruz is not completely open for business, there’s still so much to enjoy while you self isolate!
