The color of 2022 is most definitely green. From gathering attention on the runway to a pop of color in your kitchen backsplash, green has been everywhere this year—and we think it’s going to stick around for a while.

Of course, you don’t always have to go bold as green cabinetry or entirely green walls, but little pops of color add a lot of interest. Incorporating colors, such as green, into your space can be as easy as a new bowl, vase, or small appliance, and they’ll bring out the other colors in your home, too.
Unique Accent Pieces
Speaking of small ways to integrate color, unique and quirky accent pieces are certainly a trend for fall. Whether or not they are fall-themed is up to you, but we’re seeing a breakaway from cookie-cutter kitchens, and interesting accent pieces contribute to this. Modern vases, quirky jars, and other statement pieces are what everyone’s talking about right now, and are a fun and exciting way to incorporate textures, colors, and shapes into your space.

In general, buying vintage and thrifting is a huge trend at the moment—and not just in Santa Cruz! Perhaps part of the appeal is the thrill of finding something truly unique.
