The Boulder Creek Community
The Boulder Creek community was founded in the early 20th century as a home base for a burgeoning forestry industry. Today, it’s well-known as the “gateway to Big Basin Redwoods State Park”. While Highway 9 meanders through town and continues north to San Jose, the Big Basin Highway branches off the west providing great access to the wilds of the San Lorenzo mountains.

The downtown area ably provides all the essentials and so much more. Mac’s 100 Year Old Place is a popular stopover, offering numerous gift and “relics of a bygone era". The building itself is a postcard from 100 years ago!
