Aptos
The neighborhood of
Aptos
combines the majesty of the redwoods, the ocean and the historic Aptos
Village. It is host to the annual Blues Festival & the 4th of July
World's Shortest Parade.
The Redwoods stand tall in the Forest of Nisene Marks State Park, where residents hike, bike
and run through its miles of scenic trails. Out at the coast, people walk along
beaches that stretch for as far as the eye can see. And in between, people live
in diverse homes from mountain cabins, sprawling homes overlooking the
entire Monterey Bay, or right on the sand.
East of the highway are the hilly neighborhoods and mountain hideaways

called
the Aptos Hills. There, you’ll find one of Northern California’s premiere
community
colleges, Cabrillo Junior College. The homes along the hills have
spectacular ocean views from Capitola to Monterey. The hills have a
distinct rural feel with horse ranches, acreage, wineries and orchards.
West
of the highway, are the Aptos beach communities of
Seacliff
&
Rio Del Mar/Seascape.
